Four-stage product review
Use your own project after release or start with the free practice plans today. Look for whether each quantity stays connected to the drawing, pricing, saved estimate, and final output.
Load a plan or image, set scale from a known measurement, and confirm the revision.
Trace count, length, area, perimeter, or volume items. Inspect layers, formulas, scope, and status.
Apply assemblies and pricing, then review warnings, save the estimate, and create a proposal.
Check budget, schedule, purchasing, exports, Project Packages, backup, and restore.
Real product screens and practice projects
The brief covers concrete, drywall, finishes, landscaping, and mixed-trade remodeling. Each practice project shows the measured quantities, estimate, and output without presenting the example as a customer result.
The workstation image shows Takeoff 0.1.0. Before installing, confirm the filename and checksum against the current release details.
Two claims worth checking
The brief separates what the product did from what still requires judgment. Repeat the steps, note anything different, and publish the limitation beside the result.
Portability + local operation
We saved a local project, moved the application to a second folder, blocked internet access, and reopened the same project successfully.
